We all need a break sometimes. As parents and caregivers, it is important to have time to relax and rejuvenate so that you can be your best. This can be difficult when your loved one has high needs.
The purpose of respite service is to provide parents and caregivers an opportunity to take a break from their busy lives while feeling assured that their loved one is being well cared for. Being parents of adults with disabilities ourselves, we at Osprey Village understand the importance of taking a break.
Osprey Village’s respite service not only allows parents and caregivers a time of rest, but provides meaningful activities to your loved ones both in the home and the community. Our respite staff are trained to teach basic in-home living skills such as doing laundry, cleaning, and preparing basic meals. Additionally, our staff love having fun! We partner with other organizations in our community to ensure our consumers have access to recreational activities.
We know we will never be able to take care of your loved one as well as you do; but, we will do our best to try! Our respite workers enjoy their jobs and it shows. If you are interested in hearing more about our amazing program please contact our Respite Coordinator, Elizabeth Kronsted at (478) 955 – 0639 or our Director of Operations at (330) 415 – 2686.
We can’t wait to meet you!!
