Raymond (just call him Ray) is Osprey Village’s Employment Service Coordinator. He moved with his family from New York to South Carolina three years ago; because, like everyone else, he wanted warmer weather. And OVI is so glad that he did!
In his former life (that would be the cold, New York one), Ray was a special education teacher and principal. He has a background in transition plans that move individuals with disabilities from high school students to productive and employed adults.
Naturally, we could not think of a better person to coordinate our employment services. Ray works diligently to educate the business community about the potential of our individuals. Additionally, Ray rolls up his sleeves and helps our consumers find the jobs they want.
Over the coming months, Ray will be working to break down training programs such as CPR/First Aid, culinary skills, and microenterprise to help our loved ones learn new and marketable skills.
Ray is all over Beaufort County, so if you see him out and about, be sure to tell him “HI”!
